Tuxmath and Tuxtype is a great way to teach kids. Available for Linux, Mac, or Windows.
Tuxtype can teach kids to type at early age. Tuxmath is an asteroid like game were you have to enter the answer to common math problems for points and advance to next level. If your 4th grader beats out your 6th grader, it may be time to introduce him to these Tux games.
